Dinner out this past Monday in the hot, hot heat meant combining black and white in a classic, cool way to beat the heat without minimizing the chic.
Monday night dinners on the town with friends are a favorite activity of mine. The week has come around yet again, so one of the best ways to welcome it is with a low-key outfit you feel fabulous in combined with light but delicious eats. Yesterday was no exception for me as I dined at the absolutely luxurious Maison Premiere in Brooklyn with my friends Jillian, Greta, and Cam.
I chose my new Nicholas wide-legged white trousers (exclusive to Intermix) paired with a black cotton tank from All Saints. On my feet are Zara black slingbacks, Warby Parker marbled shades in this great white and cream color, my black backpack I picked up a couple months ago at Urban Outfitters on sale for $18, and my standard-issue jewelry: David Yurman chain wrapped around my wrist and gold Tiffany bangle.
The pieces I’m wearing are shown below along with lots of other options I’ve selected to create a similarly uptown meets downtown black and white dinner look!

The All Saints top makes this outfit! Black & White always look great dressed up or down!
