Just because July 4th has come and gone doesn’t mean we all can’t show a bit of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis patriotism in our outfits year-round. The weather has been bananas: hot the cold, hot then cold, hot then cold. Red skirt day (by Nha Khahn) was clearly on the warmer side for fall, but perfectly cozy on colder days also because of the denim button-down and booties. I love a patriotic outfit!
I love the versatility of this outfit when the denim shirt is involved. It can be worn, thrown over the shoulder, or tied around the waist. All button downs are great in this way. I’ve been tying mine around my waist most often these days.
So clothing-wise, I’m rocking the red Nha Khahn skirt, grey Robert Rodriguez top, and blue DL 1961 denim button down. My purse is the navy Madison Crossbody by Gigi New York (I love this brand), boots are Chloe, sunglasses are Krewe du Optique.
My Maya Brenner letter earrings say everything and nothing all at once. You can pick any letters you want. Clearly, I’m an asshole so I picked F and U. Get ’em at Neiman Marcus.
BOOTS! BOOTS! BOOTS! These old faves are Chloe from a million years ago. I’ve gotten then re-soled a couple times. They’re the perfect in between color of black, grey, and blue. The braid detail on the back is so fun.
One last look…
