Pardon the interruption, but it’s important that I make clear that it’s officially PARTY SEASON! You know what that means – pretty dresses, pretty skirts, pretty hair, and pretty presents for all! Today’s look is inspired by all the upcoming bashes I’ll be attending, and it’s important to remember when you’re dressing that all that glitters is GOLD.
Today’s look comes directly from Kate Spade Saturday – one of the ultimate brands I turn to during the holiday season. Party frocks, fancy shoes, and nifty jewelry galore, Saturday is such a fun off-shoot of Kate Spade that I’m loving. I grew up gifting my mom and sister the cosmetic bags from Kate Spade quite a bit, and this year won’t be any different (I hope they aren’t reading this today, ha). I’m thinking this gorgeous floral number will fit all of their products quite nicely, no?[show_shopthepost_widget id=”374489″]
Best part about Kate Spade Saturday? They’re helping me Gift my Girls during this festive season and they’ll help you do it too! If you head over to Saturday.com right now they’ve curated a fantastic Gift Guide of super special prezzies that all of your girls will love. So get shopping! The ladies in your life will thank you! Some of my favorites are right down below, with all my outfits details at the bottom of the post![show_shopthepost_widget id=”374509″]
Now lets get to this fun party look! I’m not a huge fan of wearing a dress…I’m petite and they always are a bit too long in the leg or in the torso, so I tend to opt for something a bit more outside the box. This gold pleated skirt (the Lightbeam) is absolutely the perfect piece to wear to a party, and when paired with this chic Split Black Crop the look comes together quite nicely.
To make it even more fun I’ve paired the clothes with these adorable Deer Dot Oxfords and am carrying the Zipline Satchel. I’m obsessed with this bag! It’s super roomy, roomy enough for my laptop and because I run from work to parties all the time it’s the perfect carry-all for scootin’ around town with lots of parties and people to see!
Just a couple more of the Lightbeam Skirt just for funsies…
