    I had the amazing opportunity to shoot some fun looks from Anne Klein recently with photographer James Nord in New York City!  I loved one of the looks so much I asked if they wanted to give it away in my Holiday Giveaway Series, and being the nice elves they are, they said yes!

      1. OK, I fell and broke my hip and had total hip replacement 10/16/14, on my husband’s birthday… Mine was 10/8/14…..8 days older than him. I like to tell all I’m a cougar to my 5 children’s dismay! Doing GREAT! Have lost 15 lbs so far. 5’4″..132# as of today 12/14…plan on losing a few more. But not only for a slimmer, healthier body, but also to take some weight off my hip. I could totally “rock” (guess that word is still being used) fashions I just saw today….I always wanted to be a model…..maybe I shouldn’t tell you I’m 75 years old…. But don’t hold that against me!! I’m still into fashion and love clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. I broke my hip because my mind/attitude and my body aren’t in sync…. I think I’m younger and my body told me “Oh no you aren’t!” I’d love to win!!! I need some new clothes for my new figure!

    Why I Fast on Mondays

    Monday: oh, the duality of it. I love Monday and I also hate it with a deep passion. I hate that it will take a full 5 days for the weekend/nachos to arrive. I hate that I have to answer my emails. I hate that my alarm goes off and wakes me from my Sunday slumber. Yet, once I’m conscious I remember that I love waking up early on a summer Monday, hitting the streets before 8am when the city is still sleepy and heading out for a slow sweat at SLT. I love hitting the re-set button and having another chance to do and be. I also love fasting on Mondays, my chosen day of the week to detox until dinnertime (if you’re forced to begin your week, you may as well dive in head first).
