So I’m doing this new thing where I basically put on whatever I want, without really considering if the pieces all “go together”, hoping that I don’t look as though I’ve gone too far off the fashion deep end. Know why? Because it’s been hovering around 10 degrees F pretty consistently for the past 19 days, with no relief in sight. Yay, Winter Fashion!
Or else I’m just evolving further, another season under my belt spent dressing in my most beautiful city. Seems like all the women here have been laser-focused lately on making styles and pieces that are seemingly incongruous work together in super chic form. Not convinced? Just take a look at some of the firing hot outfits popping up outside Lincoln Center and Milk Studios at yet another NYFW.
Here I am mixing my favorite new piece: an oversized, brilliant white distressed jean jacket from Current/Elliott with a casual (and super soft) black and white plaid sweater plus loose, silk track pants by Derek Lam 10 Crosby (I also own these in white).
This look, complete with Nike Dunk Ski Hi shoes in good ‘ol black, is Man-Repelling in all the right ways. Throw a little girly purse on top from Kate Spade Saturday (The Mini A Satchel) and you’ve got yourself a complete look.
This jacket really is everything, guys. Additionally, I’m wearing my everyday jewelry: a solid gold bangle from Tiffany’s, David Yurman necklace wrapped as a bracelet, and stacks of solid gold rings to adorn my fingies.
Happy Tuesday, everyone. Stay warm!

Love this look you put together! It’s so fashionable, but easy to put together and looks comfortable. Hope it warms up in NYC soon!
