I recently got the chance to sit down with a true skincare expert: Dr. Terry, a London-based Integrative Skincare Specialist who also happens to be the Global Skincare Brand Ambassador for The Body Shop.  She approaches skincare and wellness from a holistic point of view, from the inside-out.  In the past year or so I’ve been making a lot of changes in my own life to adopt a more holistic way of living so having the opportunity to ask her our most riveting skincare questions was too good to pass up.

In addition to a super fun Google Hangout we did last week where we did a skincare deep-dive with different beauty editor and bloggers (watch HERE), I put together a video of our recent chat of all things SKIN.  From discussing acne, the biggest skincare mistakes she sees, to her technique of applying The Body Shop’s new standout product, the Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask, we had really informative discussion I’m happy to share with all of you!

Enjoy! 🙂

  1. GREAT VIDEO – very informative. Thanks Lo and Dr. Terry 🙂
Quick question, outside of the skincare topic – can you do your AFTER apartment tour video? Thank you.

Why I Fast on Mondays

Monday: oh, the duality of it. I love Monday and I also hate it with a deep passion. I hate that it will take a full 5 days for the weekend/nachos to arrive. I hate that I have to answer my emails. I hate that my alarm goes off and wakes me from my Sunday slumber. Yet, once I’m conscious I remember that I love waking up early on a summer Monday, hitting the streets before 8am when the city is still sleepy and heading out for a slow sweat at SLT. I love hitting the re-set button and having another chance to do and be. I also love fasting on Mondays, my chosen day of the week to detox until dinnertime (if you’re forced to begin your week, you may as well dive in head first).
