Not to brag or anything, but I am the queen of impractical weather wear… If you saw someone in NYC trying to hop over mounds of snow in open-toed shoes at any point this winter, chances are that person was me. While this may not be the most coveted title, I can definitely say that I have had my fair share of experience with shoes. It’s not that I don’t know when to wear them, I just choose to go with my vibes instead of the weather — the weather app on my phone might as well not even be there.
That being said, I love shoes — it’s a Carrie Bradshaw, walk-down-the-streets and go-into-every-shoe-store kind of love. This winter, my shoe game has been all kinds of normcore. Adidas, Nike, Converse. You name the brand, I probably wore it at one point or the other. It’s been a comfortable season, but I am more than ready to push those babies aside and break out a pair of shoes without fearing that my toes might die from frostbite (not that frostbite would stop me from wearing those shoes anyway…). I’m dying for some variety after this winter, and thankfully, the fashion world has responded.
From shoes with transparent heels, fringe and gladiator glam, here are some of our favorite shoes for spring.

Love the BC and Sophia Webster sandals! I can wait to break out all of mine, too! I’m so glad spring is right around the corner.
