Today’s look combines a few stylish elements: first the mixing of textures with this faux leather pencil skirt, silk button down, and my favorite pink Helmut Lang sweater.
I’m seriously in love with this sweater. Pink started cropping up everywhere a few months ago and it’s thrilling for me personally because it’s my favorite color. Not much is better than a dusty pink, amirite? I also started tying up all my button-downs around the mid-section lately. Easiest way to turn a not-crop into a crop. Woo!
Time to move downstairs on the body to these blue booties. They’re an oldie but a goodie – I may never throw them out. An absolute score from Zara a few years ago, these leather booties go with everything. Blue, black, and pink is a mighty fine combination on an early spring day.

I love the chunky sweater. I saw one a few months ago in a local store, off white color I think. I saw the many styling possibilities in my head. And for some strange reason I left it.
You styled yours well. 🙂
