NYFW: LC Lauren Conrad Collection for Kohls

Fashion Week is ON, y’all!  Our first show review: LC Lauren Conrad Collection for Kohls, a show I was thrilled to attend for obvious reasons.  Lauren has been working tirelessly for months on her runway collection and it really showed at her NYFW debut.  If you missed the livestream you can check out video of the beautiful, feminine show here.
The event was more than just beautiful clothes – it was an opportunity to get our group of best girls together to support one of our own.  After the show we all enjoyed a festive dinner together at Beauty & Essex on the LES with friends, family, homies from Kohls, and Lauren’s team.  But now…back to the clothes:

What do you think of Lauren’s Runway Collection for Kohls?  Let us know in the comments below!

  1. I’m in love with her Runway Collection! I’ve always adored her Kohl’s clothing line. I recently bought two items from the collection. Love how she’s incorporated boho-chic and fairytale aspects. <3

  2. There is a typo on the last sentence of the first paragraph. Just thought you should know. I loved Lauren’s collection. She is so talented. It reminds me of early Marchesa, but ready to wear of course.

Why I Fast on Mondays

Monday: oh, the duality of it. I love Monday and I also hate it with a deep passion. I hate that it will take a full 5 days for the weekend/nachos to arrive. I hate that I have to answer my emails. I hate that my alarm goes off and wakes me from my Sunday slumber. Yet, once I’m conscious I remember that I love waking up early on a summer Monday, hitting the streets before 8am when the city is still sleepy and heading out for a slow sweat at SLT. I love hitting the re-set button and having another chance to do and be. I also love fasting on Mondays, my chosen day of the week to detox until dinnertime (if you’re forced to begin your week, you may as well dive in head first).
