[title subtitle=”(Keep that New Year’s Resolution)”]Yes, you can[/title] Here’s the thing about the holidays: I eat. By eat, I mean eat. Anything and everything. Honey cured ham? Had that. Parsnip Puree? That too. Don’t even get me started on the hors d’oeuvres! There was the savory puff pastry, the ooey-gooey cheese fondue, and the prosciutto-wrapped pear.
Come December, against my better judgment, I tend to let myself go. In my mind, the hours spent slaved at the gym have culminated to this one month of pure joy and utter stomach and palette satisfaction. Of course, like my other fellow human beings who have no sense of self-control, I end up paying for it in January with a little something called New Year’s resolutions.

In the past years, however, I’ve also learned that despite wishful thinking and New Year, New Me powwows, the actual act of hauling my stubborn ass to the gym has proven to be incredibly difficult. By February, I’m filled to the brim with excuses of how it’s too cold to step outside. But, with age and with the glorious invention of YouTube and Chromecast, I’ve learned to step in front of a TV.
