[title subtitle=”Because it’s never not tea time”]Beau-tea-fy Yourself[/title] What do you do with your tea bags once you’re done with them? Let me guess, you throw them out. Well, the next time you’re about to toss those babies—yes, babies—into the trash, I want you to think of me and think again.

Rich in antioxidants, teabags can be used for all sorts of beauty-related purposes. While I generally prefer to use green tea for my beau-tea routines (hello, anti-inflammatory properties!), any seeped tea bag of your choosing will do.

Check out some of my favorite beau-tea tips below!

Let’s start off with my favorite beau-tea hack! Because I suffer from puffy eyes and dark under-eye circles, this eye-mask has helped me fake the appearance of looking less tired. Simply apply damp, cooled tea bags to your closed eyelids and leave them there for twenty minutes. The skin around your eyes will automatically become less puffy.

Believe it or not, tea can be used as a toner in your skincare routine! Use a wet teabag or dip a cotton pad into brewed tea to swipe across your face. By doing this, you are toning your skin while protecting it from damage. If you have oily skin, make sure to focus the tea toner on your most oily areas to help reduce oiliness! Toning your skin with tea is suitable for all skin types. I have sensitive skin and this tea toner does a good job making my skin feel fresh without irritating it.

Boil several cups of water and pour into a big bowl with two or three teabags inside. Hover your face over the bowl and let the steam hit your face. This will naturally open your pores while keeping your skin hydrated. To take it a step further, you can place a towel over your head or over your face (both work great) before bringing your face over the bowl. Treat yourself with this mini facial to rid impurities from your skin!

Throw four or five teabags in your bath and get ready to soak in the goodness. The bath will help detoxify and release impurities from your skin throughout the body. My favorite part about a tea bath is that I come out smelling good!

[infobox subtitle=”” bg=”blue” color=”white” opacity=”off” space=”30″ link=”no link”]TEA SOOTHING[/infobox]

If you ever get a cut or burn, apply a room temperature seeped tea bag to the wound with light pressure. The properties in the teabag will help to soothe the pain and stop any bleeding. This method also works for razor burns and sunburns. It helps to get rid of the stinging feeling.
