How to Nail the #IWokeUpLikeThis Look

While nursing my Aruba withdrawals and moping around the last days of spring break, I’ve officially decided there’s nothing better to do than relax. Forget the sun in my eyes and margaritas in my hand, I’m making it a mission to lounge like a perfectly put together sloth.

You may or may not have noticed, but the pajama trend is proving quite popular for actual days out in public. Personally, I’m not quite sure how I feel about parading my sleep sets out and about the city, so let’s just begin with a few popular pajama looks for lazy Sundays curled in bed.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the oversized t-shirt and checkered boxers—I may or may not have worn that ensemble to bed last night. But, I am beyond obsessed with matching pajama rompers. There’s something to be said for going to sleep in something stylish. It’ another way to pamper yourself, no? And, who doesn’t love a little extra pampering?

Brow some of my favorite sleep looks below. I promise you will not only wake up looking good, but also feeling ah-ma-zing!

Why I Fast on Mondays

Monday: oh, the duality of it. I love Monday and I also hate it with a deep passion. I hate that it will take a full 5 days for the weekend/nachos to arrive. I hate that I have to answer my emails. I hate that my alarm goes off and wakes me from my Sunday slumber. Yet, once I’m conscious I remember that I love waking up early on a summer Monday, hitting the streets before 8am when the city is still sleepy and heading out for a slow sweat at SLT. I love hitting the re-set button and having another chance to do and be. I also love fasting on Mondays, my chosen day of the week to detox until dinnertime (if you’re forced to begin your week, you may as well dive in head first).
