Sooo in case you guys weren’t aware yet, Love Wellness has officially launched CBD products and I am BEYOND excited about it!!

Among the 3 newest products, the Timeout CBD Oil Tincture will (in my opinion) be the most popular since it’s so easy to carry around and you can add it to pretty much all of your recipes!

Whenever I’m feeling anxious or a little inflamed, I’ll take a dropper full of the oil and within minutes I’m feeling more relaxed and at ease but my favorite way of getting my much needed dose of CBD in is through teas, lattes and hot chocolate!

Yup thats right, hot chocolate! Cacao helps to camouflage the grassy undertones that some CBD Oil’s may have but luckily the Timeout CBD Oil Tincture is flavorless so I get to drink my hot chocolate without even having to think about any undesirable flavors getting in the way of me enjoying my cup to the fullest. 

To add an even more calming effect for those particularly hellish days, lavender is the perfect companion to this chocolate & CBD oil mix. Now I know lavender and hot chocolate might not sound that great together but damn are these 3 ingredients magical when mixed together!

CBD helps to quiet your mind, relax your body, aid with getting better sleep and overall stress relief while the aroma lavender gives off helps to provide an even higher level of relaxation. And the hot chocolate? Well that’s just a delicious bonus!

If you’re experiencing any feelings of anxiety, depression or insomnia then I definitely recommend giving this recipe a try, I swear it’s the most self-lovin’ thing you can treat yourself to!

Yields1 Serving

 1 Dropper full of Love Wellness’ Timeout CBD Oil Tincture
 1 cup Almond milk or plant-based milk of choice
 1 tbsp Dried culinary lavender
 2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
 2 tbsp Maple syrup
 1 tsp Vanilla extract
 1 pinch Sea salt

In a small pot, bring milk just to boil. Add lavender and cover; let steep for 10 minutes. Pour through a tea strainer or fine-mesh strainer to remove lavender, reserving infused milk.

Blend with cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, sea salt, and CBD oil.

Relax and enjoy!
